Sorrow

Title: Sorrow

Story: As usual, I like to create things that tell their own story. The country is experiencing a tough economic time and some are more affected than others. There are some working class folks and some in the unemployment line who are both wondering how they will continue to take care of their families or themselves. This piece is for them!

Cool Learning Tools... Or Just Plain Fun!

Hi Everybody!
I haven't been buying many games for my Nintendo DS but I found one that spoke to the little artist inside of me.  It's called Art Academy and not only is it fun, but it's extremely informative and teaches you about belnding colors, various strokes, working with grids and so forth.  On the freestyle segment of the game, I tested out some techniques and came up with this...

I think it's a pretty cool and non-messy way to have some creative fun without the hassle of cleaning up afterward.  Check out more on their website http://artacademy.nintendo.com/

An untitled and unfinished drawing

It started out with me drawing just a nose because I was sitting on the phone and bored out of my mind.  Now look what she's become.

This doodle-turned-art piece is done with plain paper and a number 2 pencil.
